Here are two chances to get informed about changes coming to the district that will have an effect at Hoover. Hope to see you there!
The district also scheduled two redistricting community comment meetings to discuss the new proposals. The first will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 17 at Van Allen. The second will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 18 at Wood Elementary.
School Board Agendas website for April 17th there are two agendas. One is for Facilities Committee Agenda (not the regular school Board Agenda.) These are all the lists of the projects that need attention in the district. It is essentially divided into two halfs; those less that $50 K and those greater than $50 K. For Hoover in the greater than $50 K category is a new gym and classrooms (4 million dollars) and AC for $950,000.
Wouldn’t it be nice if one or both of them could be given priority?
