Pages for Patients

Service project that all 5/6 and 3/4 classrooms are participating in. This is also a project we've invited other classrooms and Hoover family and friends to participate in, if they would like. The service project is called, Pages for Patients. Hoover students are working with City High Ambassadors to collect as many pages as possible by donating new and gently used books for all ages. These books will be donated to the UIHC library and in-patient book cart. Kids in the in-patient unit will get to keep the book off the cart that they select. Since other books may go to the library, adult books are also welcomed, as guests and other patients can check out books there. We are excited about a meaningful way to provide books to others in our community! There is a box in each 3/4 and 5/6 (including modified rooms) classroom. They can send it with a student in those classes OR drop it off in those rooms. Thanks!
