Scholastic Book Fair!
The Scholastic Book Fair will run from Monday, September 19 to Friday, September 23 in our Hoover Media Center. Hours will be from 11 am to 12:30 pm each day. We will also be open from 3 pm to 4 pm each day after school, with the exception on Thursday when we will be open from 2 pm to 3 pm. The book fair will also be open during Curriculum Nights on Tuesday, September 20th and Thursday, September 22nd from 6:45 pm to 8:35 pm.
The Scholastic Book Fair gives you the chance to buy some wonderful books at cost (no tax or shipping/handling). Some books will also be discounted. You will also have the opportunity to buy books for your child's classroom teacher. The teachers will be choosing books for a wish list. You can buy the teacher a book, put in a gift nameplate, and then put it in the teacher's bag.
We will be using the proceeds from the Book Fairs this year to buy Smart Boards for the teachers to use in their classrooms. Please stop buy and get some wonderful books to add to your collection! You can also order online for books! They will have more books available online, and you will pay by credit card. Scholastic will then ship the books to fulfill your order. We are still in need of a few volunteers to help work the Book Fair. We are looking for a volunteer to help after school on September 20th and September 22nd.
