Scholastic Book Fair!
The Scholastic Book Fair will run from Monday, September 20 to Friday, September 24 in our Hoover Media Center. Hours will be from 11 am to 12:30 pm each day. We will also be open from 3 pm to 4 pm each day after school, with the exception on Thursday when we will be open from2 pm to 3 pm. The book fair will also be open during Curriculum Nights on Tuesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 23rd from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Be sure to stop by and support our Hoover teachers and Media Center!
Last Friday you received the Book Fair Flyer from Scholastic. This is just a sample of the books that will be available for purchase. You will also have the opportunity to buy books for your child's classroom teacher. The teachers will be choosing books for their wish list. You can buy the teacher a book, sign and insert a gift nameplate, and place it in the teacher's bag.
We are still in need of a few volunteers to help work the Book Fair. We are looking for a volunteer to help after school on September 22nd, September 23rd, and September 24th. We would also like a volunteer to help during Curriculum Night on Tuesday, Sept. 21st. Please contact Jenni Bounds at 338-4127 or jenni.bounds@mchsi.com if you would like to help. We will have 2 volunteers per shift.
