Rep. Bob Goodfellow to speak Monday, Feb. 1, 7–8 p.m. at Hoover.
Bob Goodfellow, our Northeast Quadrant Representative, under his own initiative, has graciously agreed to come to Hoover this coming Monday, Feb. 1st from 7–8 p.m. in the Gym, to share what he has learned from the most recent discussion. Please come if you can! If we are informed of big changes that are being considered, we can better advocate for our school and neighborhood.
The next Redistricting Committee Public Forum is set for next Thursday, Feb. 4, 7 PM @ Parkview Church, 15 Foster Rd, and Friday, Feb. 5th @ 7 p.m. Sheraton Hotel, 210 S. Dubuque St. The forums are designed to provide two opportunities to hear the same information. That is, what is shared on Thursday, February 4th will be repeated on Friday, February 5th.
The revisions to the boundary that are being proposed are posted on the ICCSD web site at: http://www.iccsd.k12.ia.us/district/redistrict/index.html. However, these seem to be corrupt… as they cannot be viewed at this time. The possible boundary changes would “significantly impact the Hoover area,” according to Mr. Goodfellow.
