Redistricting Committee - Update

After the December 14 Redistricting Committee Meeting, ICCSD administration and RSP, the consulting firm hired to assist with this process, discussed feedback received from committee members and reviewed progress made at the meeting.

Everyone agreed that more time was needed to process and discuss the data presented. In order to accomplish this goal the committee schedule has been altered to add an additional meeting, now scheduled for January 28. This requires the public forums to be moved to February 4 and 5. The redistricting committee will meet January 14, 21 and 28.

The ICCSD has maintained the February 23 Board of Education workshop date for receipt of committee recommendations.

These revisions to the boundary process timeline will be made and posted on the ICCSD web site at: www.iccsd.k12.ia.us.
