Announcing the PTA’s 3rd Annual
“Scare Up Some Costumes” Drive
For the third consecutive year, the PTA is collecting costumes and other Halloween accessories for people in need. The costumes will be distributed on October 17 at the Consultation of Religious Communities’ Clothing Distribution on the east side of Iowa City.
How can you help? Please consider placing the following items in a box outside the office by the end of the school day on Thursday, October 15:
New or gently used Halloween costumes and accessories, including:
- Wigs
- Shoes
- Masks
- Make-up (unopened only)
- Hats
- Scarves and other items suitable for dress-up
If you can, please help us spread the joy of Halloween to children in our community. Halloween costumes are expensive, and it’s hard for some families to afford an outfit that is worn one time only. And, since costumes are worn for such a short time, they are the perfect thing to recycle. Any questions? Please contact Katherine House at 339-9801 or KHouse3676@aol.com
