There are many different ways you can get involved at your child’s school! You can chaperone on a field trip, you can help make copies or make a display of student work in the hallway. You can come read a story or share a hobby in your child’s classroom. You can ALSO be part of PTA
Ice Cream Social, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, School Pictures, Family Fine Arts Night, Math and Science Night, 6th Grade Memory Book, Career Day, Hoover Directory, Conference Night Meals, Hoover Family Dinner, Playground Improvements, Ronald McDonald House Dinners and Media Center Improvements.
The first PTA Meeting will be Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 pm in the Media Center. Childcare will be provided in the gym. PTA Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except December and March). Come and see what the PTA is all about!

Reasons to come to a PTA Meeting:
- To find out what school activities and events are coming up soon.
- Hear the latest news from our principal, Mrs. Shannon Kehoe.
- To dialog about our school, PTA, and our community, district, state.
- Teachers take turns coming to each PTA meeting to share a little bit about what’s happening in their classes, report general news, ideas, and needs.
- Free childcare.
- There are usually treats of some kind, often chocolate!
- It’s Thursday night and you have nothing else to do.
