The Iowa City School District will host a community forum on enrollment issues at 7 p.m. Monday, March 30th at Parkview Church, 15 Foster Road.
The purpose of the forum is to explain the process the school board will use to handle enrollment issues. The issues include how to address growth at West High and available capacity at City High. Official say projections indicate a continued imbalance with the boundaries. The forum is open to the public and will allow time for public input.
COPE
A community action group called COPE (Citizens for Outstanding Public Education) has put together an informational presentation outlining their concerns for City High. You can view this presentation by clicking here.
The School Board also addresses some of their points in the Press-Citizen this week. Click here for the Press-Citizen guest opinion that was published March 24th.
