Eyeglass Drive
Throughout the month of January, local
schools will team up with ReSpectacle for an eyeglass drive. ReSpectacle is a
nonprofit organization that collects and redistributes eyeglasses (www.respectacle.org).
145 million
people worldwide need glasses and many are not able to access or afford
corrective lenses. Please take a moment to ask friends and family if they have
any eyeglasses they would be willing to donate.
If you have any used eyeglasses that you would like to donate to this Student Council sponsored project, please drop them off in the labeled box located near the lost and found.
